🌟 Our Mission

To create quiet, calming sensory tools that support neurodivergent children—especially in schools and public settings—through thoughtful handmade items, educational outreach, and accessible solutions for families and caregivers.

We believe in silent strength. Not every child needs flashing lights or loud gadgets. Sometimes, the most effective support is soft, simple, and made with love.

💙 Why We Started

This journey began in my own home. As a mother of two incredible boys—both autistic, and one also living with ADHD—I witnessed firsthand how often schools and therapists go without the sensory tools children actually need.

Weighted blankets, calming visuals, quiet fidgets… these aren’t luxuries. They’re essential.

But too often, they’re missing from classrooms. That frustration and gap sparked my first idea:
✨ “What if I could sew something that helps? What if we filled the silence with support?”

At first, it was about my boys. Now, it’s about so many more.

Stitching for Sensory™ is still growing — one stitch, one product, one story at a time. Though we aren’t yet an official nonprofit, our foundation is solid. With every handmade product and every share, we inch closer to our bigger vision:
Providing schools, families, and organizations with affordable, sensory-focused tools created from lived experience.

This is more than a side project. It’s my heart work.
